Patient Resources
Helpful information before your first visit.
Zetty Jean Vitality created this resource center to help patients in Columbia, Tennessee and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities better understand aesthetics, wellness care, hormone support, skin health, medical weight loss, hair restoration, and continued healthcare before scheduling a consultation.
This page is for general education only and does not replace a personal consultation, medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment plan.
01
Educate
Patients deserve clear information before making decisions about injectables, skincare, wellness, weight loss, hormones, hair restoration, or continued care.
02
Personalize
No two patients have the same goals, skin, medical history, comfort level, or timeline. Recommendations should reflect the individual.
03
Support
The best care plans are not rushed. Ongoing support, maintenance, follow-up, and honest conversations help patients move forward confidently.

Before Your First Visit
Come prepared for a better conversation.
Your first visit is designed to help clarify your goals and reduce guesswork. You do not need to know exactly which service you want before scheduling. Many patients start with questions about aging, skin changes, weight, energy, hormones, hair thinning, or simply not feeling like themselves.
Bring a list of medications, allergies, and supplements.
Share previous aesthetic treatments or skincare products you currently use.
Write down your top concerns before the appointment.
Ask about downtime, risks, maintenance, cost, and realistic expectations.

Helpful Starting Points
Questions patients commonly research before booking.
What is the difference between Botox and filler?
Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin are neuromodulators that temporarily relax targeted muscles responsible for expression lines. Dermal filler is different. Filler is used to support volume, contour, structure, or facial balance depending on the treatment area and patient goals. Some patients benefit from one option, while others may benefit from a combination. A consultation helps determine whether muscle movement, volume loss, skin quality, or another factor is driving the concern.
How does SkinPen microneedling work?
SkinPen microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to support the body’s natural repair process. It may be recommended for concerns such as texture, acne scarring, fine lines, and overall skin quality when appropriate. Results are typically gradual, and many patients need a series of treatments followed by maintenance. Skincare and sun protection are important parts of supporting long-term results.
Can hormone changes affect energy, mood, sleep, and weight?
Hormone changes may contribute to fatigue, sleep disruption, mood changes, hot flashes, low libido, brain fog, weight changes, and reduced quality of life. These symptoms can also have other causes, so evaluation matters. Hormone support should be based on symptoms, health history, risk factors, and lab work when appropriate. The goal is to make informed decisions, not assume every symptom has the same cause.
Is medical weight loss only about medication?
No. Medication may be one tool for some patients, but sustainable weight management usually involves nutrition, protein intake, movement, sleep, muscle maintenance, metabolic health, follow-up, and realistic planning. GLP-1 management, when appropriate, should be paired with education and monitoring so patients understand how to support progress beyond the medication itself.
What should I ask during an aesthetics consultation?
Good questions include: What is causing my concern? Which treatment options are appropriate? What results are realistic? What are the risks? How much downtime should I expect? How often will maintenance be needed? What should I avoid before or after treatment? These questions help make the visit more collaborative and give you a clearer understanding of the plan.
